During
the PSE session the students of Grade 4 engaged in a Hand
Identity Chart activity:
This variation of an identity chart helps illustrate the similarities
and differences between how we define ourselves and how others define
us. First, the students drew the outline of their hand on a large
piece of paper. Inside the hand, students wrote labels and
descriptions they use to describe themselves. Outside of their
outline, other students write labels and descriptions that reflect
how they view the student. Each student exchanged the hand
outlined sheet to get an idea how other view them. In some cases, how
the outside world
