Presentation by Anagha and Ahana

During the civilization unit, Anagha shared her finding about Mohenjo Daro with the students who became more knowledgable.



Ahana presented the power point presentation prepared by her during the civilization unit in an enthusiastic manner and shared her knowledge with the entire class.







Guest lecture by Ms.Sarmishtha Adhya on Indus Valley Civilization

Students of Grade 4 imbibed knowledge about the Indus Valley civilization during the lecture presented by Ms.Sarmishtha Adhya.







Field trip to the TS State Archaeology Museum

The students of Grade 4 visited the TS State Archaeology Museum in connection with the Civilization unit and explored the past.

Pre unit-assessment

Students worked in groups. They were given pictures related to the unit, which they examined closely and then ranked them in the order of time zones. Thereafter, they wrote down the reason why the pictures have been placed in the particular order.
The students were encouraged to verbalize their thinking as they engaged in the activity.
Prompt questions:
Why did you place the picture in that position?
What does the picture tell you?

Learning engagement on irregular plural nouns

A string of clues (on flash cards) were given one after another by students to learn the irregular plurals in an exciting manner.
