Understanding CORI

Students were introduced to the concepts of data handling, graphs and CORI with activities like grouping things, analysing and interpreting them verbally first and later on paper.

Blow In Blow Out

Students played an exciting one minute game with thermocol balls where in they had to shift the balls from one container to another using a straw. they collected the data and represented it very creatively in a bar graph.

Blind fold game

Students were divided into 2 teams. One team was blindfolded and the other team had to guide them to complete the activity. Team 1 (blindfolded) was guided by team 2 to collect all the cards around them. There were 2 red cards that had the answers and rest of the cards were operations and numbers. Team 2 had to discuss amongst themselves and come up with 2 equations using the given operations and numbers that lead to the 2 answers. Along with mathematical knowledge, this activity also helped the students to develop leadership qualities
