Going further - the next stage in the inquiry process

Students brainstorming and coming up with solutions to how different body systems are connected in a human body.

Learning to express dramatically

Students were able to enhance their communication skills through enacting the story of Robinson Crusoe (chapter one) and Pinocchio in the PSE period.

Sharing is Caring!

In the PYP assembly, our students got a platform to share their knowledge about the current unit of inquiry on Human Body Systems, with the other grades. They also shared news and thought for the day. The audience enjoyed the skeleton dance performance.

The designers and presenters

The students exhibited their understanding of a human body system by creating and presenting it. They used clay base and the available resources in the classroom to make the models of the selected body system. They were able to label them clearly and explain the process of the respective body system confidently.

Math playground

Students were engaged in a fun activity to make multiplication more interesting and solve the sums with speed and accuracy. They were divided into teams and a player from each team was called to solve the respective sums they got by throwing the die.

Exploring themselves!

Students were taken to the biology lab as part of the Tuning in stage of the inquiry process. They had an opportunity to go around the lab and learn about different organs of human body. They were excited to see red blood cells under a microscope.
