First week in Grade 4

 Meditation at its best
By training students how to pay attention to the relationship between their mind and body, meditation is helping our fourth graders regulate their emotions, and behaviors.

Origami planes get them connected
On Day 1 of the new academic year, Grade 4 students were excited about being connected learners right away. Folding paper planes and flying the perfect flight. They then engaged in a very excited discussion as each one introduced their partner to the class.

Smiles and sunshine
Self - reflection on Learner profiles exhibited by them in the past was an opportunity for each student to speak about their strengths and remind themselves of their existing abilities. They also expressed about the learner profiles they wish to develop in the future which will lead them to become responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Tuning-in (Human Body Unit) with Skeleton bone song
Music actively engages students as they reduce stress and make learning fun. Most of the musical learners were excited and mimicked the actions played on video during the tuning-in session.

Math and Success Add Up
On bright sunny day, the Grade 4 students engage in “dog in the bone” game as they learn their numeracy facts. Timing students in basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. Accuracy and speed are the goals for the teams to win.
